Join us for this enlightening program that describes the foundations of self compassion as a holistic approach to self-care. Applying self compassion rather than mercilessly judging and criticizing your-self for various inadequacies or personal failings, can bring inner peace. This conference will utilize the tools of self compassion to explain how compassion for yourself means that you honor and accept your humanness and the humanness of others. Jean Watson’s theory of caring will also be used in relation to self compassion. Through readings, discussion and practice you will experience how to open your heart.
